IQ Cosmetics Colour Flash nail polish spring collection additions

IQ Cosmetics is a cosmetic store brand of the local Ausriran drugstore BIPA. You might recognize the name from one of my display posts a while ago.
I was sent four out of eight shades of the perm collection. Sadly, two didn’t made it (as you might’ve seen from my pictures on Instagram) but the PR-reps were so sweet to resend the two that were broken.

About the four shades: The finish is a combination of a creme and jelly with no shimmer (except Lavendel). I like the brush- nice and wide but not too wide so it won’t be hard to paint your nails with. Dry trime of all four polishes is good*- most of them were dry by the time I finished taking them off to swatch the next polish (average about 10-15minutes between taking pictures, taking notes and taking it off).
Each bottles holds 6ml and will retails for 3,99€. there’s a –15% off cosmetics at the moment till the 23rd of February. Sadly, there is no indication of the name on the bottle, just a number. But I figured the names out while browsing through the shades at their online shop.
*they are advertised that they dry in 45 seconds

Anyway, first up, Nr.003, Peach .The name is not spot-on. It’s more of a light apricot color. The formula of it was good, it goes on patchy and may have needed a 4th coat to even everything out. For the pictures I used three coats and no topcoat.
The color is odd, I kinda like it in the bottle but it clashes with my skintone. Also, it dries to a darker shade on the nail than it is in the bottle.

Melone (Nr.004) is a honeydew melon colored polish. It’s a bit more opaque and therefore less patchy as Peach. I used two coats and sadly, again, dried a bit darker as it’s indicated in the bottle.

Lavendel (Nr.006) is a light lavender color with a hint of grey. The formula was good, you can also see a hint of a rosè shimmer, which doesn’t translate onto the nail. I had the most issues with  photographing it color-correctly. No post-darkening after it dried.

Nr.007 (James Bond, uhm Mint): a jade color. No issues with the color this time, it dries to the same color as it is in the bottle. I liked the color on my nails more than the other colors. Mint was opaque with two coats.

All in all, it’s a nice spring collection, maybe not really what I would personally buy but if you like pastel colors, you might want to take a closer look at them. Besides the polishes drying darker than they are shown in the bottle, my favourite of the bunch is Mint.
The polishes are already released in their online shop but I haven’t seen them in stores yet.

The polishes in this post were sent me to review, please visit my disclosure policy for more information./Die Nagellacke in diesem Beitrag wurden mir kostenlos zum Testen zugeschickt.
